Embark on a spectacular 10-day journey through Kenya's most diverse ecosystems, from the rugged northern plains to the world-renowned Masai Mara. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive north to Samburu National Reserve, passing pineapple and coffee plantations with views of Mt. Kenya along the way, before spending two immersive nights among rare dry-country species like the Gerenuk, Grevy's Zebra, and Reticulated Giraffe, alongside all three big cats (Lion, Leopard and Cheetah). From here, journey to the vast Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a 90,000-acre sanctuary nestled between the Aberdares and Mt. Kenya, renowned for its Rhino conservation and rich birdlife, with morning and afternoon game drives revealing the reserve's remarkable biodiversity.
The safari continues to the shimmering shores of Lake Nakuru, an alkaline Rift Valley lake famous for its rhino population and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, before descending into the legendary Maasai Mara National Park for three unforgettable days of sunrise and sunset game drives across golden plains teeming with wildlife. With leisurely pool days and optional full-day excursions with picnic lunches woven throughout, this journey balances thrilling wildlife encounters with moments of relaxation, culminating in a return to Nairobi for your onward flight home. This itinerary offers an authentic, comprehensive tour of Kenya's finest wilderness destinations, each with its own distinct character and unforgettable encounters.



Day by day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
Arrive at JKIA airport and are received by Diwaka Safaris representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. The reminder of the day at leisure.

Day 2 & 3: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
After your early breakfast, depart at 6 Am to Samburu. A lot will be seen on the way including pineapple firms, tea, coffee and Mt. Kenya if it won't be cloudy. The park is 165 km2 in size.
For the 2 nights you will explore wide variety of animal and birdlife seen at Samburu National Reserve. Several large game species common to Kenya's northern plains can be found in abundance here, including the following dry-country fauna: Gerenuk; Grevy's Zebra, Oryx and Reticulated Giraffe. All three big cats, the Lion, Cheetah and African Leopard can also be found here, as well as the Elephant, Cape Buffalo and Hippopotamus.

Day 4: Samburu - Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After the breakfast, you will head to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy which is a 90,000-acre (360 km2) not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdare’s and Mt. Kenya The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Early Morning game drive after breakfast and leave at 0700hrs and back for lunch at 12hrs and then afternoon game drive from 1600hrs to 1840hrs.

Day 6: Ol pejeta - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart to Lake Nakuru which is one of the Rift Valley Alkaline Lake at an elevation of 1,754 m (5,755 ft) above sea level. The lake's level dropped dramatically in the early 1990s but has since largely recovered. In 2013, the lake received an alarming increase in the water levels that led to the migration of flamingos to Lake Bogoria in search for food supply.
The park also has both black and southern white Rhinos, Lions, Leopards, Buffalos and endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, commence drive south via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the Lodge or Camp. Enjoy a late afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve.

Day 8 & 9: Masai Mara National Reserve
Early morning and late afternoon game viewing drive in this Reserve, with spectacular sceneries and diverse wildlife. Relax at the lodge or pool in the mid-morning and early afternoon. An option of a full day Game Drive with picnic lunch can be organised.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast at the Lodge/ Camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at your Nairobi Hotel (use of the room excluded) and later picked up and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for scheduled international departure flight.

- Balance 60 days prior to your arrival
Standard cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation or variation of services for whatever reasons, the Company shall be entitled to charge cancellation fees as set out hereunder:
- Cancellations received between 60 days to 45 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 30% of the total cost of Services;
- Cancellation received between 44 days to 8 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 60% of the total cost of Services;
- Cancellations received within 7 days or after commencement of Services shall be charged at the full cost of Services;
- The liability to reimburse the Company for the cancellation fees, non-refundable booking fee, no show fees, administration fee and the like, shall in no way limit or restrict the general rights of the Company to collect damages for breach of contract.

Pricing
From USD 4,396
Rates are multiplied by the number of travellers. Children are charged at 50% of the adult base rate. Final pricing remains subject to terms and conditions.
